Book Review: The Fibromyalgia Cookbook
I should start off by saying that my assumptions about this book were completely wrong. Understanding that one of the biggest complaints while living with fibromyagia is our complete lack of strength and energy - I assumed that this cookbook was going to offer recipes that would be quick and easy for us to accomplish on those days when we are down and out. However, I was wrong. The book itself should not be faulted for leaving my assumptions unfulfilled. The Fibromyalgia Cookbook is comprised of recipes that combine the understanding of science and nutrition in order to provide us with options of meals that are aimed at boosting our immunity and combating our fatigue. Some of these recipes are extensive and require a great deal of prep and cook time. If you’re like me and don’t have much time to commit to making a dinner, this book is not for you. But if you do have that time and energy, this book would be great in providing nutritious recipes that support our bodies!
